3.5-litre i-VTEC® V6 engine.

Every Pilot comes with a 280-hp 3.5-litre, 24-valve, Direct Injection, SOHC, i-VTEC® V6 engine with 262 lb.-ft. of torque. And to help every litre go further, the Variable Cylinder Management® (VCM®) system is designed to automatically switch between 6 and 3 cylinders, depending on the driving conditions.

In addition, Brake Assist is engineered to help improve braking performance by applying full brake pressure when a panic stop is detected.
